About the Role

Individual contributor responsible for assisting in the delivery of products to customer teams. Supports Operations and Senior Operations Planners with reporting, production tracking, system maintenance, and vendor relationships. Assists with leading the procurement of components to produce goods in line with the production schedule at vendors, and partners with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of finished products to customer warehouses. Responsible for system set-up and data integrity in SAP and PLM. Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain outstanding attention to detail. Helps troubleshoot and problem-solve issues, making recommendations to minimize supply chain delays.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management
    • Track and ensure timely movement of component inventory
    • Assist with portal transactions (partnering with Inventory Control, Contract Manufacturers, and Suppliers) and troubleshoot issues such as quantity and date discrepancies
    • Build strong partnerships with vendor partners, Global Transportation, and internal collaborators to ensure timely project execution
    • Communicate new launch forecasts to vendors
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure accurate set-up of all master data in SAP and PLM
    • Expedite component shipments and communicate impact on production
    • Lead detailed Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy; work closely with Inventory Control during Book to Book to identify and resolve BOM issues
    • Assist Inventory Control with Physical Inventory and support issue resolution
    • Assist with quarterly inventory reporting
  • Transaction/Data Management
    • Daily management of system transaction issues at the Vendor Base; make recommendations and communicate downstream impact when issues arise
    • Creation and release of ‘Just in Time’ Purchase Orders to Beauty Park Suppliers as well as non-inventory purchase orders to support business needs
    • PO date/system management
    • Partner with the Quality team to review “holds” and ensure samples are processed in a timely manner
  • Reporting
    • Generate multiple daily/weekly reports
    • Meet timelines to support component and launch forecasting processes

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of supply chain experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to build and cultivate strong, trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners
  • Proficiency in PC-based software tools (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
