Associate Merchandiser

About the role

Randa Apparel & Accessories is seeking a Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the product development process and ensuring that our brands meet market demands.

Responsibilities

• Supports Merchandisers throughout the product development process, from concept through market introduction.
• Aids in line building and merchandising of assigned product categories to support brand and business objectives.
• Develops merchandising presentations for Sales teams and licensors.
• Collaborates with Design and Sales teams to align on product needs and timelines.
• Communicates with overseas factories regarding sample requests, pricing, and follow-up to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in the Product Lifestyle Management (PLM) system.
• Sets up and maintains product showrooms.
• Analyzes retail sales performance and market trends to support merchandising decisions.
• Supports the Merchandise Manager with assigned tasks and daily operations.

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising or equivalent degree/experience.
• General Experience Requirements: 0-2 years of experience in merchandising of consumer products, design, or product development; can include internships.
• Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Basic computer skills, working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop (a plus), experience with AI (a plus).

Qualifications

• Must be able to receive, lift, open, and unpack boxes containing product samples.
• Potential travel involved (less than 10%).
