Associate Medical Biller, Rehab - Full Time

Overview

Symbria is searching for an Associate Medical Billing Associate to join our team in Woodridge, IL. This is a hybrid-remote role requiring occasional in-office attendance. Applicants must live within commuting distance of Woodridge, IL.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate data entry of therapy activity into Excel on a monthly basis.
• Calculate certain billing information before inputting into invoices.
• Communicate with therapists and/or program managers regarding billing issues before final bills are completed.
• Aid in distributing monthly invoices to multiple communities.
• Aid in distributing monthly billing reports to the accounting department.
• Aid in tracking and resolving outstanding payment and billing issues with third-party and private pay customers across all business lines, including Rehab, Pharmacy, and Physician billing.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of medical billing experience, either through work or school.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to maintain organization, multitask, and pay attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong data entry skills.
