Associate Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant
About the role
The posting combines responsibilities for an Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) and Medical Assistant (MA II) roles. Both positions require coursework/training, BLS certification, and clinical skills. Consideration for either role will be based on qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care.
- Performs administrative and clinical duties to meet basic patient care needs.
- Performs all aspects of the Associate Medical Assistant role and clinical functions for assigned clinic/location.
Requirements
- Associate Medical Assistant (MA I): Graduate of an accredited school or registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills.
- Medical Assistant (MA II): Graduate of an accredited school or registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Associate Medical Assistant (MA I): Coursework/Training, BLS certification, and clinical skills.
- Medical Assistant (MA II): Coursework/Training, BLS certification, and clinical skills.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Min: $25.00, Max: $41.63
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
