Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineer to aid in structural design activities for a next generation space craft program!

Design support is needed through preliminary design review (PDR), critical design review (CDR), and hardware production activity. In this role, you will assist in the development of the baseline design package, perform trade studies, and ensure a seamless transition of engineering data, requirements, and documentation into the detailed design phase and into production.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related technical field) or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Demonstrated aptitude to work with multi-disciplinary engineers to develop mechanical designs
  • Experience generating and delivering presentation content
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability for aerospace hardware
  • Proficiency with Basic GD&T
  • Familiarity with tolerance analysis
