About the role

This is a unique opportunity for a pre-licensed associate looking to establish/expand their private practice, cultivate their skills as a clinician, increase referrals, develop marketing and entrepreneurial skills, and build valuable professional connections.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience and expertise in working with children, teens, and adults
• Build your own private practice under the guidance of experienced clinicians at Shelby Stone Therapy
• Receive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and working with anxiety disorders
• Consider EMDR Therapy/ Brainspotting Therapy training and interest in trauma work
• Work within an integrative approach that tailors treatment to individual clients

Requirements

• Pre-licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
• Some experience and strong interest in CBT, Mindfulness, and working with anxiety disorders
• Interest in EMDR Therapy/ Brainspotting Therapy and trauma work
• Experience and training in more than one clinical approach

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related field
• Licensure as a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
• Passing score on the national licensing exam
