Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, located in Bakersfield, California, is an acute psychiatric and behavioral 90-bed facility situated on 8.8 acres. We offer inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults needing mental/behavioral health, chemical dependency, and co-occurring disorders treatment through our medically supervised detoxification. Responsibilities
- Counsel individuals and groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, mental or behavioral health issues, and/or family situations.
- Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapeutic services to all patients and their families.
- Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy.
- Deliver quality treatment to patients and their families.
- Conduct group therapy sessions.
- Develop and review Master Treatment Plans.
- Perform psychosocial assessments and Master Treatment Plan reviews.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field (MSW, MFT) required.
- At least two (2) years of experience, with one (1) year in a behavioral or psychiatric setting preferred (combination of education and experience acceptable).
- California-issued associate-level registration or higher.
We are looking for individuals who bring their heart to work and have experience in mental healthcare, human behavior, psychiatry, psychology, or related fields.
Pay
Associate (License-Eligible) wage range: $27.39/hr. - $38.21/hr. Weekend differential applies.
