Position Summary The Associate Manufacturing Technician plays a vital role in supporting innovative manufacturing processes within a dynamic organization committed to expanding its global footprint and investing in its people.This role involves operating and maintaining sophisticated, automated manufacturing equipment essential for producing high-quality products.The technician will receive comprehensive training to operate and troubleshoot a variety of technologies, ensuring optimal equipment performance and product quality in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Perform setup, operation, repair, and routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.Manage raw material feeds, resolve equipment faults, and clear stoppages on automated machinery.Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify process shifts and implement corrective actions.Ensure raw materials are prepared correctly and production schedules are adhered to for timely delivery.Conduct inspections, generate work orders for repairs or preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical or safety issues to improve operational efficiency.Support material inventory and quality management through computer systems.Assist in new product design transfer, process development, and equipment or process validations.Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of machinery.Monitor and maintain measuring and monitoring devices to ensure tolerances.Follow specifications, work orders, and instructions from supervisors to meet GMP standards and safety protocols.Communicate any discrepancies or issues to leadership to maintain quality and safety.Work independently and collaboratively in small teams, maintaining a clean environment suitable for medical device manufacturing.Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.Proficiency in English for documentation, communication, and writing.Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.Ability to stand at least 75% of shift time and walk for 50%.Capable of reaching above shoulder level frequently and below waist occasionally.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and 5-20 lbs frequently.Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment and HMIs.Familiarity with manufacturing measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and maintain GMP standards.Preferred Qualifications Experience in the medical device industry or with highly automated equipment.Previous work with optical gauging, video microscopes, and other manufacturing instrumentation.Prior experience with robotic assembly, laser welding, heat staking, ultrasonic welding, or similar technologies.Knowledge of process validation, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.Prior work in a start-up or fast-paced production environment.Dependability, keen eye for quality, and a collaborative, positive attitude.Why This Opportunity May Be Appealing This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing organization that is making significant investments in manufacturing capabilities and global expansion.
