Associate Manager, Specimen Management
Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Manager, Specimen Management to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA. This role supports operational improvement, resource planning, and team development while driving performance and compliance, on a shift from Tuesday - Saturday from 2 to 10:30 pm.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff to ensure high performance and engagement
- Set daily operational objectives and coordinate team workflows to meet demand
- Monitor operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and cost savings
- Ensure adherence to quality control systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and equipment justification
- Lead team meetings and foster a collaborative and aligned work environment
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
- Support audit readiness and oversee timely and effective audit responses
