Purpose of the Role

The Associate Manager, Logistics Process Optimization, Projects supports the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of standardized operational processes. This role will focus on building scalable SOPs, enabling training, and ensuring process consistency, quality, and control across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) using defined frameworks and templates
  • Document end-to-end processes, including system interactions, inputs/outputs, and dependencies
  • Build and maintain an exception catalog and map controls, validations, and escalation paths
  • Create structured training materials aligned to SOPs and core processes
  • Capture process defects and improvement opportunities and update documentation accordingly
  • Support audit readiness and control validation to ensure compliance and documentation quality
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment, accuracy, and adoption of process standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field)
  • 2-4+ years of experience in process documentation, operations, or continuous improvement
  • Experience with SOP development, process mapping, or training content creation

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong process documentation and organization skills
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into clear, structured SOPs
  • High attention to detail with a strong quality and controls mindset
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or process mapping tools
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with focus on standardization and continuous improvement

Pay

The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. This position is bonus eligible.
