About the role
The Systems Engineering IT Associate Manager will oversee IT services supporting various programs across multiple Lockheed Martin Space sites and customers. Key responsibilities include managing IT server, storage, desktop, and network needs, coordinating with the Ops Lead for workload and task management, overseeing vulnerability management, and performing service requests.
Responsibilities
- Direct management and supervision of a team of IT professionals
- Cook up and manage all IT server, storage, desktop, and network needs within closed areas
- Identify staffing resources and coordinate with the Ops Lead for workloads, scheduling, and escalating IT tasks
- Oversee vulnerability management and break-fix/service requests
- Be accountable for the day-to-day IT services supporting an array of program needs
- Use project management skills to manage IT-related projects across multiple LM Space sites and customers
- Write proposals and basis-of-estimates
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across organization boundaries
- Self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
- Capable of building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
- Experience conducting performance reviews, mentorship, and training
- Experience with managing Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers and senior leadership/executives
Skills
- Strong foundation of all FSL Competencies, especially in Delivering Value, Leading through Vision and Values, Leading Change with Agility, Communicating with Positive Impact, and Developing Enduring Relationships
- Knowledge of Jira/Confluence or other project management tools
- Ability to lead change and innovation
- Knowledge of writing Basis of Estimates for future work
- Project management experience
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or Information Technology from an accredited college/university
