Associate Manager - Client Services
About the role
This role leads all client interfaces within the assigned account scope and collaborates with the Client Partner / Senior Client Partner to develop and execute the account plan to drive growth and client value.
Responsibilities
- Lead client relationships, build a portfolio up to $10-30M
- Lead the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close
- Collaborate with all delivery partners involved to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to the client
- Balance different projects running for the client that may involve different delivery managers or horizontal unit resources
- Take go-to-market solutions to accounts and drive revenue from go-to-market solutions being sponsored by the business unit
- Work closely with the Solutions Leader to build customized solutions pitches for the target account and driving the revenues and delivery of these solutions
- Build the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.
- Craft account plan with details of the relationships required, the opportunities that have to be chased, and forecasting the potential revenue yield from such opportunities, as well as potential threats and weaknesses that need to be addressed
- Make pricing decisions within the scope of the Master Services Agreement
- Support pre-sales proposals for new business development outside of account scope
- Provide vital input for building future alliances with relevant product vendors
- Drive client conversations around AI-first, cloud-first, and data-led transformation priorities within capital markets accounts, aligning Infosys solutions to business outcomes such as growth, efficiency, resilience, regulatory compliance, and superior client experience
- Partner across consulting, delivery, data/AI, cloud, engineering, and operations teams to shape integrated transformation programs spanning front-, middle-, and back-office modernization
- Position Infosys platform-led and AI-enabled offerings—including GenAI, automation, cloud modernization, data transformation, and industry solutions—to expand wallet share and strengthen strategic relevance within the account
- Support growth by identifying opportunities in areas such as client onboarding, operations transformation, risk and regulatory compliance, reporting modernization, straight-through processing, client servicing, and data/analytics-led decision support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
- Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
- Significant business development and project management experience
- Experience in the relevant industry/vertical
- Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXO level client contacts
- Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience
Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of current capital markets transformation themes such as AI/GenAI adoption, cloud modernization, straight-through processing, data/platform modernization, digital operations, and regulatory/risk transformation
- Ability to work across a matrixed environment to shape integrated propositions spanning consulting, technology, operations, and platform-led transformation
Skills
- Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions
- Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers
- Global Delivery Model experience
- Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams
- Track record as an Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship
- Familiarity with capital markets product ecosystems, fintech partnerships, cloud/hyperscaler-led transformation models, and AI-enabled solutioning in financial services
- Experience supporting deals or transformation programs involving operational modernization, data and reporting, client onboarding, risk/compliance, or platform transformation in buy-side, sell-side, wealth, or market infrastructure environments
