Associate Manager, Carbon Customer Success
About the role
Indigo Ag transforms on-farm regenerative agricultural practices into durable new revenue streams for farmers and agribusinesses, creating a more resilient world with thriving farmers and more sustainable and environmentally prosperous companies. This role serves as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, building trusted relationships and guiding partners and growers through enrollment, onboarding, and data harvest. This position combines account ownership with operational excellence and is ideal for a highly organized, data-driven professional who is passionate about agriculture, sustainability, and building strong customer relationships. This is a remote position with a preferred location in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management & Account Ownership
- Own and manage a portfolio of partner and grower accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner throughout their participation in the Carbon by Indigo program.
- Build trusted relationships through proactive communication, regular touchpoints, and personalized support.
- Develop a strong understanding of each customer's goals, operations, and opportunities to maximize participation and long-term success.
- Monitor account health, identify risks, and proactively engage customers to ensure successful program participation, growth, and retention.
- Customer Success
- Educate growers and partners on the Carbon by Indigo platform, program requirements, and best practices for successful participation.
- Set clear expectations and develop individualized success plans to help customers achieve carbon credit generation and long-term program success.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by anticipating needs, resolving issues, and celebrating key milestones.
- Drive customer retention and account growth by encouraging continued participation, expanded acreage, and adoption of additional regenerative farming practices.
- Data & Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely customer, partner, and program data across internal systems.
- Ensure all account records, program documentation, and operational activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Leverage data to monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, prioritize outreach, and proactively address customer risks.
- Support reporting, program metrics, and operational dashboards by ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve operational processes.
- Customer Advocacy & Continuous Improvement
- Represent the voice of the customer by sharing insights, identifying trends, and providing feedback to improve products, processes, and the customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, account management, and operational workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless experience for partners and growers.
Requirements
- Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and regenerative farming; agricultural experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of customer, partner, or grower accounts.
- Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and influence others.
- Highly data-driven with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Comfortable navigating technology and guiding customers through software platforms.

Benefits
- Base salary of $65,000 - $80,000 annually
