The Associate Manager role supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).

About the role

This multi-faceted role is part of Savers, an international thrift retailer. Savers champions reuse and inspires a future where secondhand is second nature. We supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items that have been donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. We purchase these items directly from our nonprofit partners, redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and on to our store racks and shelves for reuse, and providing our partners with valuable funding for their community-based programs and services.

Responsibilities

  • Support store operations, including customer service and inventory management
  • Manage employee schedules and performance
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members

Requirements

  • Proven management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience in retail or related field
  • Previous supervisory experience
