Position Overview

A reputable boutique firm in Colorado is looking to find an experienced Associate Litigation Attorney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse legal matters in a Hybrid work environment (2 days WFH/week!). The firm is looking for a dynamic attorney with a strong litigation background who can manage cases independently while also working effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Court Representation: Appear and advocate in Colorado state and federal courts for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
  • Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research on statutes, case law, and regulations relevant to business, commercial, real estate, employment, and school law.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships by providing timely updates, strategic advice, and clear communication.
  • Negotiation & Settlement: Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions to resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with partners and team members on complex cases while demonstrating the ability to handle assignments independently.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Ensure adherence to professional and ethical standards in all aspects of legal practice.

Qualifications

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar.
  • Experience: 2–7 years of litigation experience, preferably in business/commercial, real estate, employment, or school law.
  • Court Experience: Proven track record litigating in Colorado state and federal courts.
  • Skills: Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Required Work Hours

Full-time position, with flexible work arrangements allowing for hybrid work, requiring 3 days per week in the office.
