Comprehensive benefits packageOpportunity for production-based bonuses Job Details We are looking for an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join the team in New Orleans. This position will focus on a variety of cases including general litigation matters, maritime law, & transportation law. This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct involvement in case strategy, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators representing insurers, vessel owners, marine and transportation companies, and other commercial clients. Responsibilities: Manage litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparationDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other substantive legal workTake and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court proceedingsAssist with maritime, transportation, insurance, and commercial disputesCommunicate directly with clients and contribute to case strategyWork closely with partners while developing increasing independence and responsibility Qualifications: Louisiana Bar admission and good standing (required)3+ years of litigation experienceStrong analytical, research, and communication skills (both written and verbal) *PLEASE SEND ANSWERS TO THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION QUESTIONS TO andrea.ankarlo@jobot.com DIRECTLY AFTER YOU APPLY* 1.
