Associate, Life Sciences Lending

Responsibilities

• Analyzing company valuations using various accounting and business specific assumptions
• Analyzing company financial statements
• Developing detailed financial models with projections
• Developing comprehensive investment thesis and memos
• Presenting investment ideas to portfolio managers
• Participating in deal structuring, legal documentation and negotiations
• Monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments
• Assessing company capital structures and reviewing related legal documents
• Conducting interviews with industry experts and company management
• Performing qualitative business and industry due diligence
• Assessing strengths and weaknesses of various businesses
• Performing comparable company analyses

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience as an analyst or associate with a top investment bank within investment banking or leveraged finance
• Outstanding financial modeling and analytical skills
• Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and finance
• Healthcare industry experience or exposure helpful, but not essential

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a top university required.

Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000
