About the role
Bridge the gap between software development and release operations in support of Jacobs projects and contracts for the US and foreign military aircraft and missions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain and support CI/CD pipelines; train developers in pipeline usage and best practices
- Deploy, secure, and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure supporting automation and DevOps tooling
- Define, document, enforce, and automate development processes, including artifact generation for compliance tracking
- Support and prioritize work across multiple concurrent Agile initiatives
- Proficient with both full-system virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitor for and mitigate infrastructure resource bottlenecks
- Absorb and resolve DevOps pipeline build issues
- Implement automated security scans to include diagnosing and resolving security incidents
- Enforce quality gates
- Optimize build and deployment speed

- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Tools & Platforms: Azure DevOps, Git, MSBuild, Virtualization (Docker, Hyper-V, VMWare), Vulnerability Analysis (SBOMs, OWASP, Trivy), Static Analysis (NETAnalyzers, Fortify)

- Programming Languages: C++, COM, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Operating Systems: Android, iOS
- Tools & Platforms: Kubernetes, IIS, AWS, Bitbucket, Jenkins
Qualifications
- Batchelor’s degree in computer science or a related scientific or engineering discipline
- 6 years of experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Clearance Required: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US DoD Secret or Higher
