About the role
This role can be based in any of our US office locations and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.
Responsibilities
- Assess the current state of the client’s manufacturing operations and identify improvement opportunities to reduce costs, increase throughput, and improve flow of the product through the facility.
- Employ lean methodologies to drive the identified improvements, including daily management, visual factory, 6S, and lean problem-solving tools.
- Train client’s operations leadership on basic lean methodologies to ensure sustainability of improvements.
- Travel to client site as needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process improvement.
- Experience in implementation and use of The Toyota Production System (TPS).
- Experience with lean problem-solving tools such as Pareto Charts, Fish Bone, Root Cause Analysis, and PDCA.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to conduct or facilitate lean events such as 6S, Kaizen, DMAIC project.
- PREFERRED (not required): Previous experience managing manufacturing operations.

- The annual salary for this role ranges from: $100,000 to $120,000 USD + benefits + bonus.
- Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
