Responsibilities

  • Deliver a full range of high-quality clinical services, including restorative care, cosmetic dentistry, and sleep therapy, in a state-of-the-art studio.
  • Perform comprehensive exams and develop personalized treatment plans that address the whole person, including TMJ-related conditions and sleep-disordered breathing.
  • Manage a busy schedule, balancing multiple procedures and treatments, while maintaining a focus on patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
  • Lead clinical onboarding, training, and development of new providers, ensuring adherence to Tend's standards and best practices.
  • Participate in daily huddles and clinical calibrations to optimize workflow, enhance patient care, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Take on complex cases and member escalations, using a structured approach to provide empathetic and effective solutions.

Requirements

To succeed as a Dentist at Tend, you should have:

  • A DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • A current, active dental license in the state you're applying for.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • DEA registration.
  • Associate Dentists: Minimum 2 years of experience post-residency in private practice, DSO, or similar setting.
  • Lead Dentists: Extensive clinical experience (typically 6+ years post-residency) and proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate the performance of dentists within a multi-chair practice environment.
  • Invisalign certification.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Have a strong foundation in clinical judgment and decision-making.
  • Be comfortable with modern technology and willing to adopt digital workflows.
  • Be able to work a Full Time schedule consisting of 4 days per week + 2 Saturdays per month or a Part Time schedule consisting of 2-3 days per week including some Saturdays.
  • Have manual dexterity and fine motor skills to handle dental instruments precisely.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with patients, team members, and other healthcare professionals.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $175,000 USD - $425,000 USD, depending on experience and performance.

Schedule

This role requires a Full Time schedule consisting of 4 days per week + 2 Saturdays per month or a Part Time schedule consisting of 2-3 days per week including some Saturdays.
