About the role
Nebraska Vet Services is seeking an experienced or new graduate full-time associate veterinarian to join our dynamic team. This position will primarily focus on large animal care, with occasional support for small animals.Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and production care for a variety of large and small animals.
- Participate in diagnostic procedures such as digital radiography and lab services.
- Assist with reproductive evaluations and embryo transfer for cows, goats, and sheep.
- Collaborate on beef and pork quality assurance initiatives.
- Offer emergency and critical care services.
- Perform preventative care and provide pet wellness services.
- Manage herd health consultations and production animal services.
- Utilize animal health medications and supplies.
Requirements
- DVM degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain Nebraska veterinary licensure.
- Federal accreditation required.

- New graduates or experienced veterinarians are welcome to apply.
