Associate - Labor
About the role
BakerHostetler is seeking an enthusiastic midlevel Labor Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join their nationally recognized Labor Group. The role focuses on labor law and seeks candidates with dedicated management-side labor law experience.
Responsibilities
- First-chair experience in grievance arbitration matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently and lead proceedings
- Experience practicing before the NLRB, with first-chair hearing experience preferred
- Spanish language skills preferred
- Strong writing skills; writing samples may be requested
- Demonstrated experience representing clients in grievance arbitration hearings and unfair labor practice proceedings
- Advising clients on union organizing campaigns
- Supporting collective bargaining negotiations
- Providing management training on the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
- Collaborating with a national team of labor attorneys on complex matters
Requirements
