Associate IT Support Specialist

About the Role

Supports audio-video technology at a basic level, communicates with consumers to provide solutions to technical problems, and references centralized AIT Field Operations knowledge bases.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic level repairs for company devices
• Works with designated information technology vendors for support
• Meets the standard service level agreement (SLA) for incidents and requests
• Leads projects and special initiatives within allotted timeframes
• Follows and maintains AIT standard operating procedures for field operations
• Performs preventive maintenance on authorized company devices
• Works with enterprise AIT technical and business support teams as required
• Installs consumer-based hardware and software on devices and operating systems
• Provides detailed descriptions within internal service ticket system
• Follows AIT standards for devices and software
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]; Associate degree in computer technology [Preferred]
• 1+ years of experience in the desktop environment [Required]
• Basic working knowledge of various Internet Browsers [Required]
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite [Required]
• Familiarity with current Microsoft and Mac operating systems [Required]
• Basic familiarity with device imaging processes [Required]
• Basic knowledge of mobile devices hardware [Required]
• Familiarity with projects and time tracking [Required]
• Demonstrates effective technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with some supervision [Required]
• Basic knowledge of workstation management software [Required]
• Familiarity with common peripherals and accessories [Required]
• Basic working knowledge of best IT security practices [Required]
• Basic understanding of IT network hardware, software, and general concepts [Required]
• Experience working in a Healthcare environment [Preferred]
• Experience working in a consumer centric environment [Preferred]

Certifications

Must have ONE of the following valid IT related certifications:

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco CCNA
• ISC2 CC
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals series (Azure Cloud, AI, Data, Security etc.)

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Range: $20.97 - $39.00
• Schedule: Full time, Day shift
