Associate IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Executive schedule management

  • Understanding of IT terminology and concepts
  • Curate and manage SharePoint sites, intranet, and user documentation
  • Track, manage, and report on overall project status
  • Maintain overall project plan
  • Address issues with quality assurance and task completions
  • Ensure client requirements are met and closeout activities are completed
  • Manage stakeholder requirements
  • Oversee and manage department financials including tracking purchases, expenses, and deliver monthly reports
  • Manage 3rd party project delivery resources/team, provide project guidance and direction to achieve project goals; responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members
  • Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed
  • Facilitate project meetings; implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
  • Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines
  • Report status and variances
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule; implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders
  • Audit change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk with management support
  • Implement standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • Experience supporting and driving IT projects within an office environment; prior Project Management experience preferred
    • General understanding of SaaS landscape and software development lifecycle
    • Experience with Asana preferred
    • Experience presenting to a variety of stakeholder levels; strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong multitasking ability and self-driven organizational skills
    • Focus on providing high degree of customer satisfaction

    Pay

    The compensation range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $65,000-80,000 annually. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors.
