All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: Benefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability InsurancePaid Time Off from Day One403-B Retirement Plan4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental LeaveCareer DevelopmentWhole Person Well-being ResourcesMental Health Resources and SupportPet Benefits Schedule Full time Shift Day (United States of America) Address 5050 WESLEY RD City APOPKA State Florida Postal Code 32712 Job Description Supports multiple facilities with diverse technical procurement requirements.Provides high-level customer service to customers and AIT partners.Responds to emails and phone calls from vendors and customers to ensure smooth order processing.Processes purchasing requests with selected vendors, quotes, and contracts.Ensures only standard and approved part numbers are ordered with attention to detail.Enters requisitions into the system using punchout or specialty requisition as appropriate.Generates and provides product quotations with pricing as requested by customers and AIT partners.Communicates with vendors for quote requests and resolves issues related to delivery timelines, backorders, and return requests.Works with department seniors to process and submit inter-department fund transfer requests to Accounting for IT equipment when necessary.Reviews the current product list, including part numbers and pricing, to ensure the correct item is ordered and all information is entered in the designated tracking system.Reviews requested products and strategies to ensure purchase requests align with standards and obtains proper approval when necessary.Handles return requests promptly.Acts as a liaison between purchasing department leadership, inventory personnel, customers, and vendors.Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Knowledge of personal computers, hardware, software, and mobile phones [Required]Knowledge of purchase flow from creation of a requisition to receipt of product [Required]Skilled with using Microsoft office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook [Required]Problem solving skills, logical thinking, and creative abilities to explore vendor sources and choose the best course of action in sourcing and arranging accurate deliveries of equipment orders.
