About the role
The Integration and Test Engineer synthesizes and defines test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. This role coordinates assembly-level through system-level integration and test activities to ensure technical obligations are fulfilled.
Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering tasks for both manual and automated test processes
- Develop test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
- Execute system, CCA, and component-level functional testing and document results
- Use software tools and perform scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
- Setup, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices to perform verification and validation
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action creation
- Support Operations in failure/trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolved
- Provide technical consultation to internal organizations and/or customers
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Capable of traveling domestically and internationally up to 10%
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed (within the last 12 months) a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Skills
- Technical Software: IBM Rational DOORS, Imatest, LabVIEW, JIRA, Confluence, NI TestStand, Python
- Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project
- Test Hardware: DC Power Supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Noise Figure Analyzer, Scaler Analyzer, Fiber Optic Scope Meter
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- Knowledge of Electro-Optical Imaging testing, Broadband RF/Microwave and Antenna test, Line of sight testing
- Knowledge of communications systems, software languages, automated software
- Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting, and usage of automated testing frameworks and applications
Pay
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is:
- $68,000 - $126,000 (California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas)
- $59,000 - $110,000 (Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland, Ohio, and Vermont)
Final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
Schedule
9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days—totaling 80 hours worked—and have every other Friday off.
