About the role

Ares Infrastructure Debt sources global assets and businesses with defensive characteristics across the digital, transport, energy and utility sectors. Through 21+ years of industry experience, we have established long-standing relationships allowing us to seek to generate exclusive deal flow and high-quality investment opportunities.

The candidate will work as an integral part of the Investment Team in New York, responsible for originating, structuring, and executing new investments.

Responsibilities

  • Build financial models and determine appropriate capital structure with acceptable levels of debt and equity.
  • Perform in-depth diligence into investments to develop a deep understanding of the merits and risks of potential investments.
  • Prepare and present investment memos to the investment committee.
  • Support deal execution and closing workstreams on new investments.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor intelligence identifying trends and new business areas.
  • Assist in the identification of opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch proposals and marketing materials for new business activities.
  • Support portfolio management for each investment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
  • 2-3 years’ experience from a top-tier investment bank or private equity firm specializing in infrastructure project finance, M&A, corporate finance, or investment.
  • Strong finance and analytical abilities with proven financial modeling capabilities (in Excel).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior management, investors, and peers.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $165,000.00. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.
