About the role
Ares Infrastructure Debt sources global assets and businesses with defensive characteristics across the digital, transport, energy and utility sectors. The candidate will work as an integral part of the Investment Team in New York, responsible for originating, structuring, and executing new investments.
Responsibilities
- Build financial models and determine appropriate capital structure with acceptable levels of debt and equity.
- Perform in-depth diligence into investments to develop a deep understanding of the merits and risks of potential investments.
- Prepare and present investment memos to the investment committee.
- Support deal execution and closing workstreams on new investments.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor intelligence identifying trends and new business areas.
- Assist in the identification of opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch proposals and marketing materials for new business activities.
- Support portfolio management for each investment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- 2-3 years’ experience from a top-tier investment bank or private equity firm specializing in infrastructure project finance, M&A, corporate finance, or investment.
- Strong finance and analytical abilities with proven financial modeling capabilities (in Excel).
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior management, investors, and peers.
Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $165,000.00. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.
