Associate III, Warehouse

About the role

CPSG is a distributor of access control and perimeter security products. This role is within the CPSG Operations function.

Responsibilities

• Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality
• Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide standard customer service functions
• May perform basic to high-level modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirements
• Oversight of outbound shipment processes
• Absorb incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety and company standards
• Able to train on all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to comply with procedures and policies; implement visual aids with the distribution center in compliance with company policy
• Contribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations
• Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue
• Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification
• Experience: 5 years experience in a high volume warehouse environment

Skills

• Ability to Read and Write in English
• Proficiency in Spanish (preferred)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $27.21 - $42.28/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
