About the Role

This position is located on the island of Oahu and candidates must work in the state of Hawaii upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical support to various departments in processing of Submissions, Renewals, and Agent of Record (AORs)
  • Review Submission for clearance and update Salesforce
  • Review and clear AORs requests and handle them according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Premium Audit: Print, assemble, update system and distribution
  • Review renewal instructions and distribute accordingly
  • Typing, printing, updating various Policy documents as requested by the Underwriters, Commercial Operations or Agencies
  • Scanning hard copy documents to appropriate files
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications / Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Keyboard 35+ WPM
  • Able to prioritize work and multitask to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to collaborate with others across departments
  • High attention to detail

Associates

  • Associate II: 1-year general office experience
  • Associate III: 2+ years general office experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of P&C insurance experience

Special Circumstances

  • Occasional overtime may be required
