About the role

This role is responsible for portfolio management, credit underwriting, and loan administration duties for Fintech Warehouse Facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management and Loan Administration: Support, monitor, and analyze client collateral credit performance for asset-backed finance (ABF) transactions. Work with clients and the middle office to process loan transactions (such as draw requests, pay downs, and distribution of funds). Prepare modeling and analysis for monthly and quarterly portfolio reviews (including asset-backed securities (ABS) market overviews), highlighting key trends and potential risks. Monitor deals for compliance with covenants. Ensure timely receipt and accuracy of client financial, compliance, and collateral reporting. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in internal systems. Assist in the preparation of internal reports and presentations for credit and senior management.
  • Credit Structuring and Underwriting: Support deal teams in the underwriting process for existing warehouse credit facilities. Assist in the preparation of credit memoranda and complex structured finance models. Analyze client financial statements, collateral tapes, and other relevant documents. Perform collateral stratification. Coordinate with internal stakeholders—including credit, legal, and operations teams—and assist in both the deal approval and structuring process. Understand risk factors and performance drivers for the various asset classes financed by the team, as well as venture debt and broader structured finance vehicles maintained by commercial banking clients.
  • Client Relationship Management and Communication: Act as a point of contact for assigned clients, responding to inquiries and requests, including loan transactions. Collaborate with relationship managers to support client meetings and presentations. Prepare client-facing materials and correspondence. Contribute to the development of client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of experience or High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience.
  • Preferred Area of Study: Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business.
  • Preferred Area of Experience: Commercial Banking, Asset Backed Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Asset Backed Securities, Warehouse Lending, Corporate Finance.

Pay

For New York or San Francisco, the base pay for this position is generally between $102,450.00 and $136,600.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
