Associate I, Sanitation - Part-time (Main Campus)

About the role

The Environmental Services team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a hard-working, motivated, upbeat teammate with excellent communication skills to join as a Part-time Sanitation Associate at our Main Campus - 1275 York Ave.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation duties (e.g., cleaning, mopping, dish washing, pot washing and other related duties) within the various locations of the Food and Nutrition Services department.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are operational and available at workstation.
• Clean, sanitize and store pots/pans, dishes and silverware; clean and sanitize all equipment (e.g. kettle, ovens, mixers, refrigerators).
• Sweep, mop and clean assigned areas.
• Ensure supply of dishes and utensils throughout the Main Kitchen and Retail areas.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and other trash & recycling collections.

Core Skills

• Ability to stand for the duration of shift.
• Ability to push, pull and lift heavy items weight up to 50 lbs.
• One year of dishwasher or porter experience in restaurant, hospital, school etc. including cleaning of kitchen appliances/utensils etc. strongly preferred.

• Schedule: Part-time must be flexible, available to work some weekends and holidays.

Pay

Pay Range: $22.87 - $29.38
