About the role
At Robert D. Niehaus, Inc. (RDN), you will contribute to our housing market analysis program. This includes conducting primary research at various locations across the nation, analyzing geospatial and economic datasets within our housing supply and demand model, and producing detailed reports that showcase your findings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary research at project sites.
- Analyze geospatial and economic datasets using our housing supply and demand model.
- Write comprehensive reports detailing your research findings.
- Travel approximately 25% of the time, including some weekends.
- Present your findings effectively and maintain professional contacts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or other social sciences.
- Demonstrated skills in quantitative analysis.
- Experience in applied research and report writing.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Valid Driver’s License and successful completion of a government background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in statistical methods and/or research design.
- Experience working with the State or U.S. Government.
- Basic coding experience in R, Python, or similar languages.
