Associate - Healthcare
About the role
The New York-based Healthcare Group at Lazard is seeking an Associate to join the team. This role is available in New York or Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of financial analyses and create complex models
- Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
- Interact with client senior executives
- Manage deal processes
- Conduct research on relevant companies / sectors
- Provide guidance to teammates at the Analyst level
Requirements
At least two years of investment banking experience (strong preference for those with M&A deal experience), financial consulting, or other meaningful healthcare M&A experience
Strong financial modeling skills and quantitative background coupled with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
Demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
Bachelor’s degree required

Base salary range for this role is approximately $185,000 - $250,000 USD
Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job
Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation
