The role of Associate Health Principal at HDR involves guiding the Health sector in the local region, contributing to leadership and visioning, and developing strong client relationships.

• Implement interview strategies
• Contribute to or lead capture plans, qualifications, and proposals
• Contribute to or lead interview strategies and implementation
• Learn / lead internal HDR marketing processes
• Prepare / negotiate project contracts
• Maintain project oversight throughout execution
• Interface with clients proactively
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to health staff and project teams
• Develop abstracts and presentations for industry conferences, seminars, workshops, and other similar events
• Cultivate a network of industry partners for intelligence gathering and strategic development

Requirements

• 10 years’ experience in the architectural industry
• 7 years’ experience in healthcare architecture
• Strong connections with health systems
• Preferred: Local candidates
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• 10 years related experience
• A minimum 5 years project management experience
• Registered Architect
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market
• Good planning and mentoring skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
