About the role

The role of Associate Health Principal at HDR involves guiding the Health sector in the local region, contributing to leadership and visioning, and developing strong client relationships.

  • Engage clients regularly through multiple channels
  • Mentor, guide, and support health staff and project teams
  • Develop abstracts and presentations for industry events
  • Cultivate a network of industry partners

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Contribute to or lead capture plans, qualifications, and proposals for Health clients/pursuits
  • Contribute to or lead interview strategies and implementation
  • Learn/lead internal HDR marketing processes, such as GNG, Fee Development/Approval, risk awareness and data maintenance
  • Serve as Project Manager (or other roles as appropriate) on projects
  • Prepare/negotiate project contracts
  • Maintain project oversight throughout execution
  • Interface with clients proactively

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years’ experience in the architectural industry
  • 7 years’ experience in healthcare architecture
  • Strong connections with health systems
  • Local candidates preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • 10 years related experience
  • 5 years project management experience
  • Registered Architect
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
  • Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market
  • Good planning and mentoring skills
