Associate Geologist - Environmental

Responsibilities
- Performs various field and office tasks requiring the application of basic geological principles and fundamental theories.
- Applies available data pertinent to geology and/or hydrogeology, accurately describing and classifying soil and rock samples.
- Provides technical guidance for stratigraphic and groundwater drilling programs.
- Conducts soil, surface water, groundwater, and sediment sampling programs.
- Assists in geological mapping and in performing basic geologic analyses.
- Aids in geologic report preparation, including preparation of cross sections and compilation of environmental sample analyses.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field and typically up to 3 years of related work experience.
- Familiarity with software packages typically used in geological analyses is preferred.
