About the Role

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine with a focus on critically ill children.

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent degree
• ABP certification
• Pennsylvania licensure
• Completion of fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine

Responsibilities

• Teaching in formal didactic lecture programs and informal instruction of medical students, residents, fellows, and other health care professionals in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• Attendance and participation in lectures, presentations, and conferences within the division and multi-disciplinary conferences
• Clinical practice in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Philadelphia and/or King of Prussia campuses, and potentially in the Progressive Care Unit at the Philadelphia campus
• Collaborative research and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows in scholarly pursuits
• Demonstrated record of continuous scholarly productivity and national impact, including involvement in collaborative and independent research efforts and peer-reviewed published works
