About the role
An Associate Fulfillment Processor delivers a high-quality and consistent service experience through excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer needs. This onsite position supports processing mail and packages, picking and packing orders, and assembling or disassembling projects and events at one of our corporate locations.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently, including scanning items for electronic distribution.
- Pick up, deliver, and scan mail/packages to ensure timely delivery; collaborate on unclaimed items.
- Pick and pack supply orders, warehouse requisitions, and projects with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare packages for shipment using cost-effective, sturdy materials to prevent damage.
- Set up and take down projects or events in offices and the warehouse.
- Ensure equipment and inventory are accounted for, stored properly, and in good working order.
- Fulfill pre-determined assemblies or projects while meeting service and quality standards.
- Identify and address quality concerns, working with resources to resolve issues.
- Use packaging and shipping tools (e.g., visual aids) to maximize efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Adhere to Thrivent and Materials and Distribution standard operating procedures, best practices, and safety standards.
- Clean and restock supplies at mail stops, work areas, and distribution areas daily.
- Collaborate with other departments to support workloads and maintain a high-performing team.
- Staff the corporate mail room and interact with visitors, callers, and employees at mail stops.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Meticulous focus with high accuracy, quality, and client-centric service.
- Growth mindset, adaptability, resilience to change, and strong customer service skills.
- Self-directed, personally motivated, and accountable.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for most of the day.
- Comply with safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Thrivent products, systems, and processes.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or documented training in process improvement and change leadership.
- 1+ year of order fulfillment, mail room, or related experience.
- Basic knowledge of United States Postal Service mailing standards and pricing.
Pay
The hourly wage range for this full-time role is $16.29 - $22.04 per hour, based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs.
