Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Bank Financial Advisor in Wealth and Investment Management as part of Wells Fargo Advisors.

About the role

In this role, you will participate in Wells Fargo Advisors training program to meet personal, professional, and organizational client service and financial goals within the Financial Advisory - Bank function.

  • Review basic or tactical client goals and risk tolerance, assess investment profile, and evaluate client financial needs related to lower risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact.
  • This Licensed Originator (LO) position involves customer contact and job duties that may include assessing needs and referring customers interested in a dwelling-secured product to a SAFE team member.
  • Assist customers without taking an application or offering/negotiating terms of a dwelling-secured transaction.
  • Meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) as outlined in job expectations.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Customer Service, Sales, or Relationship Building experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Successfully completed Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents).
  • State Variable, Life, and Health insurance licenses.
  • Financial services experience.
  • Client services experience.
  • Experience developing and managing client relationships.
  • Sales or sales support experience.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher.

Job Expectations

  • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements, including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. A credit report will be used to assess financial responsibility, though a credit score is not part of the evaluation.
  • Ongoing regulatory requirements include additional screening if necessary.
  • U.S. candidates must obtain/maintain appropriate FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 66 or 63 and 65, or equivalents) and state Variable, Life, and Health insurance licenses within 90 or 180 days of employment, depending on the number of licenses needed.
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. Specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply.
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards apply. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance.
  • For FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening. Candidates must pass a background check prior to hire. Individuals subject to statutory disqualification are ineligible.
  • Compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and personal investing. Affected employees must provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by policy requirements.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Pay

Compensation includes an hourly base pay rate that meets or exceeds applicable minimum wage requirements, with the opportunity to earn additional commission. All pay complies with applicable minimum wage laws.
