About the role
In this role, you will participate in Wells Fargo Advisors training program to meet personal, professional, and organizational client service and financial goals within the Financial Advisory - Bank function.
- Review basic or tactical client goals and risk tolerance, assess investment profile, and evaluate client financial needs related to lower risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact.
- This Licensed Originator (LO) position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction.
Responsibilities
- Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies, including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards.
- Obtain and/or maintain appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) as required for ongoing employment, including Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) or equivalent, and state Variable, Life, and Health insurance licenses within 90 or 180 days of employment.
- Comply with state law registration, licensing, and specific product or SAFE licensing requirements.
- Adhere to FINRA background screening requirements; candidates must pass a background check prior to hire.
- Meet ongoing regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
- Comply with policies regarding outside activities and personal investing; provide required information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team.
Requirements
- 6+ months of Customer Service, Sales, or Relationship Building experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Successfully completed Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam or equivalent.
Qualifications
- FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents).
- State Variable, Life, and Health insurance licenses.
- Financial services or client services experience.
- Experience developing and managing client relationships.
- Sales or sales support experience.
- A BS/BA degree or higher.
Pay
Compensation includes an hourly base pay rate that meets or exceeds applicable minimum wage requirements, with the opportunity to earn additional commission. All pay complies with applicable minimum wage laws.
