About the role

The Associate Finance Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and student financial services functions, including preparing manual bank reconciliations and quarterly reconciliations for federal and state grants and loans. This role manages general ledger reconciliations related to student and third party receivables and tuition, processes monthly ECSI loan refunds, and updates loan holds within Enroll & Pay. The position also assists with state and federal loan programs, including annual Perkins loan assignments and ongoing state loan management. The role provides customer service by responding to student inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Additionally, the position assists the Assistant Director of Accounting & Finance and the Student Accounting Manager with special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the manual bank reconciliation
  • Prepare quarterly reconciliation of federal and state grants
  • Prepare a quarterly reconciliation of federal loans
  • Assist with state loan management
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations related to student and third-party receivables and tuition
  • Process monthly ECSI loan refunds
  • Add and remove loan holds in Enroll & Pay, as necessary
  • Assist with Perkins loan assignments on an annual basis
  • Answer in person, phone, and email questions from students with billing questions
  • Support Assistant Director of Accounting and Finance and Student Accounting Manager with special projects and other requests as needed

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting. This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have advanced knowledge, analytical skills and professional competencies necessary to perform the duties of the position.

Work Experience: Three (3) years of relevant work experience. Experience analyzing/tracking reports.

Pay

$70,200.00 - $105,300.00
