About the role
As NFM’s Associate Event Producer, you will be responsible for planning and executing on-going/repeat marketing events, charitable contributions, store tours, PR efforts, marketing research and managing circular and premium processes. You will have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule based on business needs. Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love.
Responsibilities
- From concept to implementation, assist in planning marketing events
- Own the prize give-away process, budget and direct customer contact
- Relay event information both internally and externally
- Assist in conducting circular shops, internet statistics, and competitor reports
- Direct event activities to be in line with the strategic goals of the department and company
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of sales, marketing, advertising, or public relations experience in a retail environment
- Knowledge of local market (e.g. competitors, charities, etc.) preferred
- Experience with promotions and event coordination preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ongoing acceptable driving record
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software Applications
- Internet skills preferred
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Detail oriented
