Responsibilities

  • Help run and grow our Corporate/Issuer Equity Derivatives franchise.
  • Assist in pricing, hedging, booking, and risk-managing the full corporate product suite, including Forward Sales, Convertible-linked Call Spreads and Capped Calls, Prepaid Variable Forwards and Collars, and Accelerated Share Repurchases.
  • Support institutional notes business lines such as Buy-Writes and Synthetic Convertibles.
  • Run the book day-to-day, supporting pricing and marks, and executing and managing delta and other hedges.
  • Own the trade lifecycle end-to-end, from execution through settlement, including physical-share/144A mechanics and the segregated physical-shares account.
  • Partner with the structurer and quant teams to implement new instruments and validate their pricing, booking, and lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Financial Resources and Treasury to ensure borrow and funding costs don’t quietly erode deal P&L.
  • Build the desk’s operational infrastructure—deal database, hedging and payout tools, and automated daily reporting—replacing manual workarounds with reliable, repeatable tooling.

Qualifications

  • Exposure to corporate and equity derivatives.
  • Real trade-lifecycle fluency.
  • A genuine trading track mindset.
  • A strong risk-taking instinct is a plus but not a requirement.

Pay

The expected salary for this role in the New York, NY market is $150,000 based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.

Schedule

This role is available on a regular schedule with 40 hours per week.
