Associate Enterprise Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales Engineering)

To reach this goal, we are seeking an experienced Associate Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our Albany, New York Team.
Responsibilities
- Support the design of Nurse Call, RTLS, Wander Management, patient information and entertainment displays, Public Address, clock, and other critical communication and life safety systems.
- Afford cost determinations and budget estimations.
- Afford performing needs assessments and site surveys.
- Afford reviewing bid documents and sales orders.
- Collaborate with the Sales and other Company teams on sales opportunities to create quotes, proposals, bills of material, and scope of work definitions.
- Afford validation of solution requirements, quotes and Scope of Work.
- Afford creation and modification of applicable project drawings including floor plans, one-line, riser, and schematic wiring diagrams.
- Afford reviewing bidding documents and Requests for Proposal (RFP) including plans, specifications, and addendums to create budgetary design and proposal.
- Afford creating RFIs to address design issues identified in bid documents.
- Collaborate with project management and installation teams on scheduling, project requirements, and project design, deployment, and integration challenges.
- Afford support the installation phase of projects and ongoing service as appropriate.
- Afford producing as-built drawings for project closeout.
- Afford validating solutions and integrations in laboratory or development environments.
- Adhere to company and industry standards, building codes, and best practices for system designs.
- Maintain required manufacturer certifications and current knowledge of industry codes and standards, and technology business requirements, by participating in internal and manufacturer training, and self-directed research.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements For Success
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology, or vocational/military electronics training, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software for creating and editing technical drawings a plus.
- Basic math computation skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions.
- Computer skills to include understanding basic computer manipulation, managing computer files, word processing, using spreadsheets and databases, creating presentations, finding information, and communicating.
- Professional self-starter who is reliable, flexible, proactive, resilient, organized, and punctual.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively express ideas and information.
- Able to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
- A high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Able to follow policies, processes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean driving record.

Pay
The expected salary for this position ranges from $58,000.00 to $88,000.00.

Vendor Credentialing
This role may require you to meet vendor specific credentialing requirements to visit customer sites as a condition of your continued employment. These requirements vary based on the respective healthcare, educational, state, or federal customer and may include vaccinations, additional background checks, additional drug testing, and any other type of criteria as specified by the customer.
