Associate Engineer I
Description Of Duties/Essential Functions
This position reports to the Executive Assistant to the Director. Individual will be responsible for managing all reception and telephone duties in support of the divisions of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts. Scheduling and coordinating visitor access with the Office of the Building, greeting and directing visitors. Preparing purchase requisitions, invoice and travel vouchers, maintaining records, reports, and files. Scheduling and coordinating travel and meeting space needs for committee and staff meetings. Preparing outgoing mail such as: U.S. mail, UPS and Fed-Ex shipments. Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Education/Experience & Skill: Individual must possess a minimum of two (2) years office experience; knowledge of reception, secretarial and/or administrative assistant techniques or education and training equivalent to an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science or a related area is required. Individual must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical: Ability to sit for extended time periods. Normal office working environment requiring telephone usage and ability to process written documents.
