An opportunity for a mid-to-senior level Associate to join a leading Energy, Infrastructure and Natural Resources practice in New York. The role focuses on advising lenders and project sponsors on complex project finance transactions across the energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert legal advice and counsel to clients within the professional services sector.
• Conduct legal research and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Analyze and interpret complex legal issues to provide clear recommendations.
• Support litigation processes, including preparing case materials and representing clients as needed.
• Keep updated on legal developments and industry trends to advise clients proactively.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all legal matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the state of New York.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to the professional services industry.

Pay

Salary range of $365,000 to $420,000, depending on JD year and other relevant factors.
