Associate Electrical Engineer – Electrical Power for Infrastructure & Buildings
About the role
The role involves leading and managing projects for lighting design and electrical engineering in collaboration with project managers, designers, engineers, and CADD technicians. It is a strong fit for an experienced engineer who enjoys both technical design and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver projects from concept development through construction administration, ensuring effective communication among clients, consultants, and internal team members.
- Develop and coordinate complete electrical power system designs from concept through construction, including code compliance, power distribution, equipment connections, load analysis, panelboard configuration, and controls integration.
- Build and mentor high-performing electrical project teams by providing technical leadership, supporting professional growth, and driving adherence to company standards and evolving industry practices.
- Lead the technical review and stamping of lighting and electrical plans using expert knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Requirements
This role requires 11+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a 4-year degree in a related field. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience with lighting design, familiarity with industry standards and codes, and a strong background in electrical engineering.
