Responsibilities
- Develop electrical distribution deliverables (up to 34.5kV) from design through execution
- Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction
- Correspond with clients, vendors and subcontractors
- Potential travel opportunities to client and vendor offices and/or project sites for design reviews, construction coordination and field verification
- Adhere to and/or prepare design budgets and schedules
- Perform QA/QC responsibilities
Qualifications
- Experienced in design services for overhead and underground distribution line projects for investor owned utilities in the United States
- Experienced in design of overhead and underground distribution projects (4kV-34.5kV)
- Good communication skills and interest in engaging with Clients to grow relationships
- Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards including NESC and NEC
- Working knowledge of interdisciplinary project coordination: procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, real estate and land acquisition, and construction support
- Working knowledge of the proposal process and developing engineering estimates
Preferred Qualifications
