About the role
In this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory targeting clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. You will identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, benefits, and more, while also selling additional solutions to existing clients. Daily responsibilities include cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads from established business partners, assessing client needs, and closing business in the field. No prior sales experience is required—ADP provides high-quality sales training and the latest sales technology to set you up for success.
Responsibilities
- Grow ADP’s business while growing your own by working independently and collaboratively to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.
- Turn prospects into loyal clients by implementing a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
- Deepen relationships across ADP by selling cloud-based human resources solutions and strategically cultivating additional business within existing accounts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and your network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications
A college degree is not required. What matters most are the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences include:
- One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry.
- Military experience where skills like teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through help build relationships and achieve success.
Bonus points for:
- Prior quota-carrying experience.
- Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.

Pay
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. The range is USD $40,200.00 - USD $79,800.00 per year. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state, and local laws.
