Associate Director, Venture Banking

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

About the role

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and retain Venture Banking clients for loan and deposit opportunities
• Oversee loan underwriting and origination processes
• Maintain knowledge of the venture capital ecosystem and firm offerings
• Negotiate term sheets and compete for client opportunities
• Manage credit and loan document negotiation processes
• Identify non-lending opportunities and cross-sell products
• Take ownership of issues related to company performance and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience underwriting and servicing venture banking type credits
• In-depth knowledge of Bank lending policies, procedures, and criteria
• High degree of self-motivation, dedication, creativity, and perseverance
• Minimum of 2 years Venture Banking/VC industry-specific experience (preferred)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills (preferred)
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills (preferred)

Pay

$128,500 – $179,900 annually
